ISO EXO 26 SLEEVES
These sleeves are characterised by good insulating power, together with a strong exothermic
reaction due to the use of metallic aluminium. Prime quality raw materials, like those used for
the insulating products, and the vacuum production process give the product an apparent
density of about 0,6/0,8 g/cm3 and a good mechanical resistance. Because of its exothermic
characteristic, this kind of sleeve is appropriate for materials with short intervals of solidification:
various steel alloys, spheroidal graphite cast iron, etc.
The use of this kind of sleeve permits a marked reduction of the riser volumes, when compared to those in sand and insulating material.
The maximum capacity of the volume settling is 50/55%.

ISO EXO 28 SLEEVES
These sleeves provide good insulating power combined with a strong exothermic reaction. The impact moulding production process gives these sleeves outstanding dimensional precision together with good mechanical strength. The apparent density of 0.5/0.7 gr/cm3 is due to the use of extremely lightweight prime-quality raw materials, with exceptional insulating capacity.
Given its exothermic properties, this type of sleeve is suitable for metals with short solidification intervals: various steel alloys, spheroidal graphite cast iron, etc., delivering a considerable reduction in riser volumes compared to sleeves made from sand and insulating material.
The maximum setting shrinkage capacity is 50/55%.

ISOL 70 INSULATING SLEEVES
These sleeves are characterized by an high insulating power due to the usage of top quality raw materials and extremely light that give the product a specific weight of 0,30/0,50 gr/cm3.
Their insulating power permits double solidification time in comparison with sleeves made of sand.
The high dimensional precision and the good mechanical resistance allow the product to be suitable for the usage particularly in automatically plans.
We suggest the usage for the castings of aluminum and all types of no-ferrous metals, with a capacity of the volume settling till 60%.
They can be use also for the castings of cast iron and steel.
