ISO-EXO 26 SLEEVES

These sleeves are characterized by a good insulating power, together with a strong exothermic reaction due to the use of metallic aluminum. Prime quality raw materials, like those used for insulating products, and the vacuum production process give to the product an apparent density of about 0,6/0,8 g/cm3 and a good mechanical resistance. Thanks to its exothermic characteristic, this kind of sleeve is appropriate for materials with short intervals of solidification: various steel alloys, spheroidal graphite cast iron, etc. The use of this kind of sleeve allows a marked reduction of the riser volumes, compared to those in sand and in insulating material.

The maximum capacity of the volume setting is 50/55%.

 

ISO-EXO 28 SLEEVES

These sleeves provide a good insulating power combined with a strong exothermic reaction. The impact moulding production process gives to these sleeves outstanding dimensional precision together with good mechanical strength. The apparent density of 0,5/0,7 gr/ cm3  is due to the use of extremely lightweight prime-quality raw materials, with exceptional insulating capacity.

Given  its  exothermic  properties,  this  type  of  sleeve  is  suitable for metals with short solidification intervals: various steel alloys, spheroidal graphite cast iron, etc., delivering a considerable reduction in riser volumes compared to sleeves made in sand and insulating material.

The maximum setting shrinkage capacity is 50/55%.
